Li Ruan

Ms. Ruan has worked in US student admissions and advisement for more than 20 years. She has held positions as International Student Advisor, Transfer Counselor, Assistant Director of Admissions, Assistant Director of Doctoral and International Graduate Admissions, Associate Director of Recruitment, Bursar and Registrar at American liberal arts colleges, large private and public research universities, including New York University, as well as graduate and professional schools. She has managed admission selection processes for over 220 college and graduate majors or programs, ranging from communications and media, education, humanities, social sciences, fine and performing arts, to business, counseling, health, and STEM, etc. Ms. Ruan has provided US public and private school information to new immigrant families to North America.

Ms. Ruan holds a Bachelor of Law Degree from Peking (Beijing) University and a Master of Arts in Education Degree from East Carolina University. Her clients have been accepted to Columbia University, Northwestern University, Duke University, Vanderbilt University, Emory University, New York University, University of Southern California, University of Michigan, UC Berkeley and UCLA, Boston University and other selective colleges in the US, and University British Columbia in Canada, etc. Ms. Ruan has also worked with more than 50 US public and independent high schools to facilitate university admissions and placement, as well as with over 60 North American colleges and universities.



Maureen McAndrew

Dr. Maureen McAndrew is a Clinical Professor, and has served as Senior Director of Professional Development, and Program Director for the Teaching in Dental Education (T.I.D.E.) Fellowship Program for international students at a major research university in the US. Dr. McAndrew interviews candidates for admission to dental school and has advised thousands of American and international students in their academic and professional development. She has published more than 30 articles on US curriculum, student study strategies, and social media’s impact on students’ learning in European and US journals. Professor McAndrew is a member of the renowned professional organization, IECA.

Dr. McAndrew received a BA Degree in Biology and a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) Degree from New York University. She also possesses a MS Degree in Higher Education from City University of New York’s Baruch College. Dr. McAndrew was an elected Board of Education Trustee at a large New York State School District that educates kindergarteners to senior high school students and also served on their "Challenge Committee" for gifted middle school students. She has successfully placed her clients at the most prestigious New York high schools, competitive universities, and graduate/professional schools. Her clients have been accepted to Stuyvesant High School and The Bronx High School of Science in NYC, MIT, Stanford University, Duke University, Vanderbilt University, Emory University, Tufts University, University of Michigan, UC Berkeley and UCLA, Williams College, Boston College, and other prestigious American colleges/universities, as well as University of Toronto in Canada.
